23 years ago, a fully indoor event named Dubai International Boat Show was held at the Watersports & Powerboat Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre Dubai. Launched in 1992, the most anticipated event attracted 55 local and regional exhibitors along with 3,000 visitors in its first edition. Since then, the exhibition has sustained development and progressive growth. Being one of the fastest-growing marine shows, this exhibition quickly gained momentum and expanded the event from an on-land display to a land and water venue.

The event settled at the Dubai International Marine Club in 2004 which made the event one of the largest and most influential brands in the world. Since then, Dubai International Marine Club has become the permanent home of the show. This achievement is the demonstration of the vision of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

With the proven track record and rich history spanning 23 years, the Dubai International Boat Show caters enthusiasts by epitomizing style with the latest innovations in the global marine industry. The exhibition of marine products by more than 850 leading international exhibitors from over 50 countries in over 85,000 square meters of space has made the event an incomparable destination for marine enthusiasts.
